Often, after collecting a ton of Blu-ray movies you may want to enjoy/view them on your portable devices (like iPod, iPhone, PSP, Zen, Zune, mobile phone, BlackBerry, etc) so that you could enjoy them anytime and anywhere. However, those media players or portable devices can not read Blu-rays now. In order to make it, you have to turn to a third party for help. Here I will share with you an easy way to enjoy Blu-ray movies on BlackBerry.
Necessary applications:
A BD-ROM or BD-R/RE drive
Blu-ray Ripper or Mac Blu-ray Ripper (decrypt and convert protected or non-protected Blu-ray to other popular video/audio format with good output quality)
Solution: Convert/rip Blu-ray movies to AVI, WMV, MP4, 3GP workable to BlackBerry.
After downloading this Blu-ray ripper application, install and run it.
Step 1: Add your Blu-ray files into it by clicking “DVD Româ€, “DVD Folder†or “IFO/ISOâ€
Step 2: Choose output format (WMV, AVI, MP4 or 3GP) for BlackBerry and set the destination
Click the drop-down list “Format†you can select output format according to your BlackBerry device as well as set the output file path from the “Outputâ€. Or, you don’t have to set the destination folder, for in that case the output files will be saved in the default folder automatically.

If you want to merge/join/combine several Blu-ray files into one, just need to tick the checkbox “Merge into one fileâ€.
Step 3: Adjust audio/video parameters
Click the “Settings†button, a profile window will pop up. Under it, you could easily set bit rate, codec, size and frame rate of Video as well as bit rate, size, sample rate and channels for your reference. Remember the higher the bitrate, the better the quality, hence the bigger the file, the better the quality.
Step 4: Click the “Convert†to start Blu-ray conversion
Once all the Blu-ray conversion is finished, you can get the output files by clicking the “Open†folder and then put them on your BlackBerry for viewing.
Best wishes!
